Come cool off in the Climatron! You read that right—the recent high temperatures in St. Louis are hotter than the tropics 🔥 The temperature inside the Climatron ranges from 64°F at night to a high of 85°F, keeping the rainforest plants happy and healthy. #WorldRainforestDay⠀ ✨ GIVEAWAY ✨ in honor of hitting 100,000 followers! It's a gorgeous day to get outside and enjoy this break from the extreme heat. The Garden is in full bloom and ready to welcome you!⠀ The Japanese water irises are blooming in the Japanese Garden and will be looking gorgeous all weekend 💜 These beauties are a sure sign that summer has arrived. The Missouri Botanical Garden will offer free admission to all visitors all day on Sunday, June 19 in honor of Juneteenth. Visitors can spend a restful and restorative day in the Garden and partake in special activities planned for the day, including free admission to the Children's Garden, plant potting activities, and educational offerings. Free admission will also be offered at @shawnaturereserve and @butterflyhousestl. #Juneteenth June is LGBTQIA #PrideMonth, and it is more important now than ever before to support our LGBQTIA communities as the fight against discrimination continues. This June, the Climatron will be lit in glowing rainbow colors every Whitaker Music Festival Wednesday in celebration of Pride. The Garden is a place for all, regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or background. #Pride⠀ Did you know that your Garden membership includes free admission to @shawnaturereserve? Next Saturday, June 11, Shaw Nature Reserve is hosting Explore MOre, a hiking blitz where expert guides will help you explore the wide variety of Missouri landscapes that the Nature Reserve has to offer. This event is just $5 for general admission and free for Garden members. Learn more at shawnature.org/events. The Garden is open today for Memorial Day! Come enjoy the sunshine on this beautiful day.⠀ The Lehmann Rose Garden and Gladney Rose Garden are bursting with colorful blooms. Enjoy the sights (and smells!) all weekend long—the Garden is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday this Memorial Day weekend. ⠀
